Real Madrid Prepares Major Summer Transfer Changes

Real Madrid has placed six first-team players on the transfer list ahead of the summer transfer window, according to recent reports. “Los Blancos” are planning their first full transfer window under the management of Alvaro Arbeloa, who replaced Xabi Alonso in January.

According to reports, Ferland Mendy has already been added to the list of departures following a recent muscle injury sustained during the 3-0 victory against Manchester City in the Champions League. Meanwhile, five other players are expected to be put up for sale, signaling a major overhaul of the defense: David Alaba, Antonio Rudiger, and Dani Carvajal.

Carvajal’s contract expires at the end of the season, while Rudiger has faced multiple injury issues and has played only 11 matches in La Liga this season. Alaba, on the other hand, continues to struggle with physical problems following his return from a severe knee ligament (ACL) injury.

Additionally, Fran Garcia is anticipated to leave after losing his starting spot on the left flank. A surprising name on the list is Eduardo Camavinga, who could be sold for around £50 million. The French midfielder has been linked with Arsenal, and interest has also emerged from several Premier League clubs, including Liverpool.

On the flip side, Real Madrid is considering the possibility of signing Rodri from Manchester City. The Ballon d’Or winner is reportedly unwilling to renew his contract beyond 2027, making him a potential target for the Madrid club. These movements clearly indicate that Real Madrid is preparing for a significant change in the squad, particularly in the defensive department.
